Analytics layer

Purpose

This document describes the analytics and reporting layer of AI Conveyor: dashboards, portfolio reports, stage gate reports, and economic impact reports.

Key ideas

• Portfolio: distribution of initiatives across stages, priorities, and business units; the funnel and the dynamics of transitions between stages.
• Stage gate: status of upcoming stage gates, decision history, average time to pass each stage.
• Impact: a summary of target and actual impact by initiative and by business unit/domain; progress against the value realization plan.

How it works

The analytics layer consumes data from the initiative registry and related entities (see initiative model). It is implemented as dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, internal tools) and, where needed, automated reports for committees and the AI office. Portfolio and impact metrics are linked to Architecture, initiative scoring, and impact confirmation. This layer supports periodic portfolio reviews and decision-making at stage gates.
