Deploying an AI Solution

Purpose

A scenario for bringing an AI solution into industrial operation: infrastructure, monitoring, SLA, and transition to the "Business Impact" stage (Gate 4).

Core Ideas

  • Production assumes stable operation, reproducibility, monitoring of model and data quality, agreed-upon SLAs, and support.
  • Security, regulatory, and operational readiness requirements (runbooks, escalations) are taken into account.
  • Gate 4: confirmation of stable operation and launch of the impact measurement process.

How It Works

  1. Deployment plan: target infrastructure, rollout stages, rollback, support owners.
  2. Implementation: deployment of the model and pipelines, monitoring setup (drift, quality, availability), documentation and runbooks.
  3. Acceptance: verification of SLA and governance compliance; sign-off on operational readiness.
  4. Launch and stabilization: monitoring of the initial periods, incident remediation.
  5. Gate 4: decision to move to "Business Impact" — the start of formal accounting of the economic impact.

Next comes the measure-ai-impact playbook and the use of the economic-impact-model.
